COBB Chocolate Souffle
Ingredients
- 150 grams of dark chocolate
- 100 grams of butter
- 200 grams of sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3.5 oz flour
- 6 serving cups
Method
Prepare the COBB Grill and light a CobbleStone and wait a few minutes until it turns gray. Or, if you don't have a CobbleStone on hand, prepare your briquettes. Place the pan and dome lid on the COBB Grill and allow to heat for at least 5 minutes.- Gently melt the chocolate and butter in the pan. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar.
- Slowly beat the eggs into the mixture, then add the sifted flour and a pinch of salt until you have a smooth mixture.
- Place the grill rack and enclosed roasting rack on the COBB grill and close the domed lid. Leave it for at least 5 minutes until it warms up.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the cups leaving about 3/4 of an inch below the top, as the mixture will puff up while baking.
- Place them on the baking rack and cover with the dome lid. Leave them for about 25 minutes, they should still be a little soft in the center.
You can add a little liqueur if you like, e.g. Baileys.
