COBB Καπνιστό ψάρι

COBB Smoked fish

Turn your Cobb Grill into a smoker by simply sprinkling some soaked smoking chips over hot Cobblestone or coals. If you are using COBB Gas, simply place a small plate full of smoking chips over the heat source and let it smoke. This little setup makes it very easy to smoke fish almost anywhere.

What do you need?

- smoking chips

- Cobblestone or coals

- Cobb Grill

- Aluminum grill grid (included in the standard equipment of every Cobb Grill purchase)

- Fenced Roast Rack

- Fish

- Optional: Salt and sugar

Method:

1. If you have time, cover your fish in spices. Make a mixture of 3 parts sugar to 2 parts salt and cover your fish and leave it for a few hours or overnight if possible. This will give a wonderful sweet and salty taste to the fish when it is cured and smoked.

2. Light the coals on your CobbGrill and wait 5 minutes for them to heat up.

3. Sprinkle some soaked smoking chips over the hot coals to create smoke.

4. Place the fenced roasting rack on top of the aluminum grill grid. The aluminum grill grid is ideal for smoking as it has many holes that will allow the smoking to travel easily through the charcoal chamber. Then place your fish on the grill.

5. Once enough smoke has been generated, cover your fish with the dome cover and voila - your Cobb Grill is now a super convenient and portable hot smoker!
